The area

Just around the corner from Hotel Molendal lies the beautiful Sonsbeek Park, one of the most beautiful city parks in the Netherlands. Here you can stroll among centuries-old trees, flowing streams, and green meadows. Some rooms even offer a direct view of the park.

De Hoge Veluwe National Park is also nearby. Hop on one of the famous white bicycles and explore the heathlands, or visit the Kröller-Müller Museum with its unique art collection.

Would you rather stay in the city? Museum Arnhem, charming restaurants, and cozy boutiques in the '7 Straatjes' are all within walking distance. At the reception, we are happy to share our personal tips for a wonderful day out: from walking routes to table reservations for dinner.

Parking

Unfortunately, our hotel does not have private parking spaces, but parking in the neighborhood is easily arranged. Paid parking applies around our hotel, for which we offer a parking ticket for €20.00 per car, per day. This allows you to park from check-in (3:00 p.m.) until 12:00 p.m. the next day, half an hour after check-out for a leisurely departure.

Prefer flexible parking? Then you can opt for the hourly rate of €4,50 at the parking meter, valid between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. For guests who want to park for free, there is an alternative in the Sint-Marten district, just a 5 to 15-minute walk from the hotel.

Public transport

For guests arriving by public transport, our hotel is a seven-minute walk from the central station. There is also a trolleybus stop right outside the door, which takes you directly to the Open Air Museum and Burgers' Zoo.
